Mikel Arteta to sanction exits of 10 Arsenal players in summer transfer revamp

Mikel Arteta is prepared to let up to 10 players leave Arsenal this summer as he attempts to put his own stamp on the squad. Arteta is gearing up for his first full season in charge of the Gunners, having returned to his former club as Unai Emery’s successor back in December. Despite finishing eighth in the Premier League, the Spaniard secured Europa League qualification for next season by winning the FA Cup - meaning his side will also take on Liverpool in the Community Shield next weekend. Arsenal will then kick off their 2020/21 campaign away at Fulham on September 12 - and ahead of the new season The Times claim there will be a mass exodus in north London.
