Arsenal 'still lead Gabriel Magalhaes race despite growing interest'

Arsenal are reportedly 'still ahead' in the race for Lille centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes despite a host of clubs being linked with a late move. Manchester United have allegedly held talks with the 22-year-old's representatives over a potential move to Old Trafford, while Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City have also been credited with an interest. According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, United are in discussions with the defender's agents but are yet to open talks with Lille, who are believed to value the Brazilian in the region of £22m.
