Arsenal's Torreira set to join Torino after agreement in principle collapses
Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira is set to leave the Emirates on loan this summer and Daily Star Sport understands that Torino are in advanced talks to sign the 24-year-old. The Gunners had agreed a deal in principle with Fiorentina but the move has stalled and Torino are now in advanced talks. Fiorentina had been close to sealing a £7m loan deal for the Uruguayan, with a £14m obligation to buy next summer, but the Serie A side have cooled their interest allowing Torino to swoop in. Torreira joined Arsenal for £26m from Sampdoria back in 2018 and he has three years remaining on his current deal.
