Arsenal ‘agreed terms’ with Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar on a long-term contract two weeks ago. The creative midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates ahead of the October 5 deadline, at it appears as though the player himself is desperate to get the deal over the line. The Gunners have already brought in Gabriel and Willian who hit the ground running in the Premier League opener against Fulham, which could have convinced club bosses to spend more cash. That could see the 22-year-old France youth international league Ligue 1 for England, despite his hefty valuation.
