Arsenal losing battle with Scottish government to free Tierney for Man City trip

Arsenal look set to be without Kieran Tierney for their trip to face Manchester City. The former Celtic defender has been forced to quarantine after leaving his Scotland intentional duty early after he took part in a gaming session with team-mate Stuart Armstrong who then tested postive. Although Tierney has repeatedly tested negative, he has been made to fulfil 14 days of isolation despite the pleas of the Gunners to allow him to return to London and resume training. The 23-year-old has made three Premier League starts so far this season under Mikel Arteta, helping the Spaniard oversee wins over Fulham and Sheffield United.
