Arsenal to rival Manchester United for £35m Pau Torres?
Arsenal have reportedly identified Villarreal centre-back Pau Torres as a possible January transfer target. Mikel Arteta is keen to further bolster his defensive options following the summer arrival of Gabriel Magalhaes, with a number of his current centre-backs deemed surplus to requirements. The likes of Shkodran Mustafi, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Calum Chambers have all been linked with moves away, while Arteta is also looking for an upgrade on Rob Holding.
