Arsenal legend Ian Wright has a theory on why Nicolas Pepe has struggled in north London since his £72m move. The Ivorian arrived for a club-record fee last summer, having scored 22 goals and made 12 assists for Lille in the 2018/19 season. But the 25-year-old has not been able to hit the same form for the Gunners, recording just 11 in 54 games over two campaigns. And Pepe reached a new low for Arsenal when he picked up a red card for head-butting Ezgjan Alioski in an off-the-incident during the 0-0 draw to Leeds.
