Arsenal are reportedly eyeing a new creative midfielder and central defender to help solve their current malaise in the January transfer window. After a promising start to the season, Arsenal's campaign has hit the rock with one win in the last six league games and three consecutive defeats at the Emirates. The poor form has led to question marks about manager Mikel Arteta and the state of his squad which is overly reliant on captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Gunners are short on cash to spend with few sellable assets to recoup funds and next summer a number of players will be out of contract.
