Thomas Partey has been told he can save Mesut Ozil’s career at Arsenal in two month’s time by club legend Paul Merson. The Ghanaian, who arrived on transfer deadline day for £45m from Atletico Madrid, has made five appearances for the Gunners. While impressing before picking up an injury against Aston Villa, his absence has been felt by the north London side after picking up just one point in two games. But Merson, who won two First Division titles with Arsenal and an FA Cup, believes the midfielder can help out an outcast at the club.
