Arsenal's transfer struggles summed up by five pieces of recent business
Mesut Ozil’s departure from Arsenal would be the fifth time the Gunners have allowed a big star leave for free in recent years. Ozil looks destined to leave the Gunners having been left out of Mikel Arteta’s squad for the first half of the season. The World Cup winning midfielder is out of contract at Arsenal in the summer and is now available to talk to overseas clubs over a summer move. Ozil’s representatives are believed to be in talks with a number of clubs, including Fenerbahce and DC United, over a deal.
