Mikel Arteta could be heard urging Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Kieran Tierney to bomb forward during Arsenal’s clash with Newcastle on Monday night. The Gunners are aiming to secure their fourth win in five games at home to Steve Bruce’s men, who they also got the better of in the third round of the FA Cup earlier this month. They were unable to break the visitors down in a testing opening 45 minutes, nevertheless, recording just one shot on target before the half-time whistle sounded.
