Mustafi's turbulent Arsenal spell ends as Arteta and Edu confirm exit
Shkodran Mustafi has joined Schalke from Arsenal on a permanent transfer. The 28-year-old World Cup winning defender has had a turbulent time in north London, but does leave with 151 appearances and two FA Cup triumphs.
