Thomas Partey’s injury woes at Arsenal explained after strong record in past
Thomas Partey has suffered with injuries at Arsenal this season because he didn’t have a sufficient pre-season, says Mikel Arteta. Partey, who joined the Gunners in a £45million switch from Atletico Madrid back in October, is facing another spell on the sidelines after picking up a hamstring problem in last week’s 1-0 defeat away at Aston Villa. The Ghanaian midfielder has struggled for fitness throughout his debut campaign in north London, meaning he has only made 11 Premier League appearances since completing his move from Atletico.
