Arsenal star Lucas Torreira's mum dies after losing battle against Covid-19
Viviana Di Pascua, mother of Arsenal ace Lucas Torreira, has died at the age of 53, according to reports in Uruguay. She had recently been admitted to intensive care after contracting the coronavirus in Uruguay. Torreira was allowed to fly home to Frey Bentos to be by her side, with the midfielder currently on loan at Atletico Madrid. Though it is reported that Viviana's situation worsened and on Tuesday her death was announced. Torreira had been hit by Covid-19 back in November following international duty, becoming the twelfth individual among Uruguay players and staff to receive a positive result at the time.
