Gary Neville wants Florentino Perez to fine clubs £100m for Super League exit

Gary Neville is hoping that the Premier League’s Big Six will be handed hefty fines by Florentino Perez after backtracking on plans to join a European Super League. Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham have bowed to pressure from supporters in withdrawing from the league where they had been part of 12 founding clubs. Although the decision to withdraw has seen Super League chairman Florentino Perez promising to reevaluate plans, there have been calls to punish those involved.
