Premier League chief Richard Masters "optimistic" over full crowds next season

Premier League boss Richard Masters claims football is on course to start next season with capacity crowds. Up to 10,000 home fans will be allowed back into top-flight matches from next week as the UK eases coronavirus restrictions. But Masters insists full capacity crowds from the start of next season on August 14 are a realistic aim. The Premier League chief executive said: “I feel really optimistic we will be full. All the mood music and the messages coming out of Government are positive. “Safety will always come first and maybe the fan experience will be slightly different. But I’m optimistic.
