Bendtner dated manager's daughter after winning team-mate bet - and fell for her
Former Arsenal striker, Nicklas Bendtner, once accepted a bet to approach Steve Bruce's daughter; after chatting to her, however, he ended up falling for her. When Bendtner arrived in North London - from Copenhagen - he was a fresh-faced 16-year-old who had built a reputation as an outstanding prospect. And, Arsenal opted to send him out on loan to Bruce's Birmingham City side, in 2006, so the young Dane could gain some first-team experience in the Championship.
