Arsenal pay tribute to ex-Tottenham star Christian Eriksen with classy tweet
Arsenal have paid tribute to ex-Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen with a touching tweet wishing the Danish midfielder well in his recovery. Eriksen, 29, was taken to hospital after collapsing off the ball in the first half Denmark’s opening match of Euro 2020 against Finland. The Inter Milan ace went down without any other players around him with paramedics rushing onto the field to provide assistance. They could be seen attempting to resuscitate the star as his Denmark team-mates formed a protective ring around him to provide him with some privacy. Resuscitation efforts continued for some time and a picture later emerged of Eriksen sitting up as he was stretchered off the pitch....
