Arsenal Face Chelsea Competition For Lyon Defender Samuel Umtiti
It has been reported that Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is attempting to prise Samuel Umtiti away from Lyon. The London Evening Standard claims that the France Under-21 international is seen as a player of great potential and a similar purchase to that of Kurt Zouma, who joined the Blues from Saint Etienne for £12.5m last year. He can play both at centre half and at left back and Chelsea are prepared to offer in the region of £10.7m for his signature. Umtiti has just two years left on his contract and Lyon are aware that Chelsea want to lure him to the capital.
