Arsenal 'willing to meet' Alexander Isak's £59m release clause this summer
Arsenal could bolster their chances of winning silverware under Mikel Arteta by signing Sweden star Alexander Isak this summer despite interest from Real Madrid. The 21-year-old former Borussia Dortmund forward has impressed with his performances against Spain, Slovakia and Poland - despite failing to find the net. Isak scored 17 goals in La Liga last season, and also finished as top scorer during their successful 2019/20 Copa del Rey campaign, which was concluded a year late. Despite Arsenal failing to qualify for European competition for the first time since the 1994/95 season, they could jump the queue for Isak by matching his buy-out clause.
