Arsenal 'in advanced talks' with Aaron Ramsdale over £30m transfer
Arsenal look to be close to ending their search for a new goalkeeper amid reports they are in advanced talks with Sheffield United stopper Aaron Ramsdale. The Gunners have been tracking Ramsdale for some time after making enquiries earlier in the transfer window. Mat Ryan had been linked with a return to Arsenal following his spell on loan from Brighton last season, but revealed the club are on the lookout for a homegrown keeper to help boost their quota. Ramsdale would fit the bill following his role in England's squad at Euro 2020, with the 23-year-old now seemingly poised to complete a switch to the Emirates.
