Tammy Abraham completes move from Chelsea to Roma killing Arsenal hopes

Chelsea have confirmed that Tammy Abraham has joined Roma on a permanent deal following the arrival of Romelu Lukaku. The England international had slipped down the pecking order under Thomas Tuchel after impressing under Frank Lampard in 2019/20 with 15 Premier League goals. The 23-year-old, who was also linked to Arsenal and Barcelona during the summer window, has now linked up with Jose Mourinho in Serie A following Edin Dzeko's transfer to Inter to replace Lukaku. The move is said to have cost Roma around £34million, with Abraham putting pen-to-paper on a five-year contract that runs until the summer of 2026.
