Arsenal boss to launch deadline day release clause bid

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is plotting a late move to trigger impressive Valencia full-back Jose Luis Gaya’s £13.5m release clause before tonight’s 11pm transfer deadline, according to reports from the Daily Star. The 19-year-old left-sided defender has been one of Los Che’s star performers this term, settling into a key first-team role despite his age.
