Five bizarre injuries footballers suffered celebrating goals - including losing finger

Celebrating a goal is supposed to be a moment of pure joy and exhilaration, but sometimes things can go badly wrong. Most goal celebrations are harmless, think Alan Shearer's one-handed salute or Cristiano Ronaldo's iconic 'Siuuuu' gesture. But some carry a greater risk of danger and have even resulted in players missing months at a time through injury. Former Portsmouth forward Lomana Lua Lua spent time on the sidelines after injuring his foot while doing his trademark somersault against Arsenal in 2006.
