AFCON 2021: Elneny's Egypt reach semi-final 

Egypt will face Cameroon in the semi-finals of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations after defeating Morocco 2-1 after extra time. Mohamed Elneny played the full match as his side came from behind to win their fifth consecutive AFCON quarter-final. Morocco got off to the perfect start in Yaounde when Ayman Ashraf fouled Achraf Hakimi inside the box in the opening 10 minutes.  Referee Maguette N'Diaye checked the VAR monitor and pointed to the spot, allowing Sofiane Boufal to step up and open the scoring from 12 yards.
