Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta has welcomed new signing Vlad Dragomir after the first team squad reported for pre-season training on Monday. Dragomir, a Romania U-16 captain, was signed from ACS Poli Timisoara for a fee in the region of 100,000 and has already begun training with the team (via The Guardian). Given that we signed Krystian Bielik in January, it is clear that our scouts believe that Eastern-Europe may be the hotspot for emerging talent.
