Alexandre Lacazette needs to score 27 goals against Everton to meet pre-season target

Alexandre Lacazette will have to put in the best individual performance in professional football history and then some if he is to match the goal-scoring target set by Arsenal technical director Edu last summer. Edu insisted back in September that the Gunners front-line of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Lacazette would grab at least 40 goals between them this season - which has turned out to be very far from reality - and now as close to impossible as can be. Aubameyang left the club with seven goals for the season, with Lacazette having only six after 23 appearances, with only one game to go against Everton at the Emirates.
