Arsenal's move for wonderkid Marquinhos halted over claims he'd 'signed for Wolves'

Arsenal's pursuit of Sao Paulo wonderkid Marquinhos has reportedly hit a stumbling block after it emerged the Brazilian winger has already penned a pre-contract agreement with Wolverhampton Wanderers. Due to Mikel Arteta's youthful philosophy, Marquinhos, 19, had been hotly tipped to finalise a move to the Emirates over the summer transfer window. But the switch has now been thrown into jeopardy due to the forward's previous agreement with Premier League rivals Wolves.
