Big blow as Arsenal suffer another injury in pre-season
We've experienced another blow ahead of the 2015/16 season, with captain Mikel Arteta suffering yet another calf strain during our pre-season tour of Asia, according to the Express. The Spaniard has spent much of the last year sidelined with injury, repeatedly being put out of action by a recurring calf problem. The 33-year-old has been a superb captain, and has been a leader both on and off the pitch. He isn't likely to be first choice any more however, so his injury isn't as big a blow as it seems. We will need as much strength in depth as we can get if we are to challenge Chelsea for the title next season, but at least it's not someone like Aaron Ramsey, Francis Coquelin, or Mesut Özil...
