Former Man United man claims ‘relationship' with Wenger influenced transfer

Chuba Akpom has completed a season long loan move to Hull City, where he will hopefully see regular first-team football. Tigers boss Steve Bruce claims his relationship with Arsene Wenger helped seal the move, with the former Manchester United man taking a number of our players on loan in the past. Players like Seb Larsson and Nicklas Bendtner joined Bruce on loan at Birmingham City and Sunderland respectively, not to mention the fact that Isaac Hayden has also recently made a temporary switch to Hull.
