Arsenal Loanee Jon Toral On Target In Birmingham Debut

It has been revealed that Arsenal loanee Jon Toral marked his Birmingham City debut by scoring what proved to be the decisive goal in his side's 2-1 win over Reading at St Andrew's on Saturday. Toral's header in the 47th minute doubled the home side's lead as Birmingham held off a late fightback from the visitors to secure victory in the opening round of the Championship. The 20-year-old Spanish midfielder, who spent last season on loan at Brentford, told bcfc.com he was pleased to open his Birmingham account in his first match in front of the home supporters.
