Arsenal 'plotting £22m raid for Sevilla's Grzegorz Krychowiak'
Arsenal are allegedly stepping up their interest in Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger sent scouts to watch the Polish international during Sevilla's UEFA Super Cup clash with Barcelona, according to The Telegraph. Krychowiak is said to have a buyout clause in his contract, which Arsenal are reportedly ready to trigger with a £22m bid. The Gunners have recruited just one new player this summer, with goalkeeper Petr Cech joining from Chelsea in a deal worth £10m. Wenger's side began the new campaign with a surprise 2-0 home defeat to West Ham United.
