Arsenal handed huge fitness boost after star's warm weather trip

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere looks set to return much sooner than previously anticipated after returning from a warm weather trip to Dubai in order to aid his recuperation, the Express reports. Wilshere suffered a hairline fracture to his fibula a day before our Community Shield clash against Chelsea and after he avoided the need for surgery, the 23-year-old was sent abroad by Arsene Wenger in order to help his recovery, according to the report. Wenger initially indicated that Wilshere would spend two weeks resting in a protective boot and that he may be able to train shortly thereafter (via The Guardian).
