Hodgson says Welbeck will miss 6 months

When Arsenal announced Danny Welbeck would be missing for a ‘period of months' rather than any specific time-frame, it seemed fairly obvious that his problem was quite serious. Now, after England's 6-0 win over San Marino, England manager Roy Hodgson has admitted he's worried about the striker, and says he's been told it's going to be quite a lengthy absence for the former Man Utd man. Making public his fears that Welbeck could miss next summers European Championships, Hodgson said, 'Welbeck bothers me now. He has already been out for me since March so that’s over four months already. 'And now I hear it’s another six months, so I can only hope that Danny recovers a bit quicker...
