Ex-Arsenal star: Wenger believes in France international

Former Arsenal striker Nicolas Anelka has called for Arsene Wenger to show similar faith in Olivier Giroud to what he experienced when arriving in 1997, The Evening Standard reports. Anelka arrived as an unknown teenager and after leading us to the double in his first season, the world took notice and he was sold to Real Madrid in 1999 for £23.5million – a huge price-tag in that era.
