Arsenal star back before Christmas despite fears of SIX MONTH absence

Arsenal star Danny Welbeck is expected to return before Christmas despite fears he would be out for six months, reports The Sun. England manager Roy Hodgson sparked worries that the 24-year-old would be on the sidelines for the majority of the season when he mentioned that he had heard the player was out for six months. However, the Three Lions boss would appear to have the wrong information. The former Manchester United man has been out since April with bone bruising, and had an operation last Tuesday to repair cartilage damage in his left knee. The Gunners still expect him to be ready to play by Christmas though, which will be a major boost for the team. SEE MORE Arsenal transfer news...
