Injury-cursed Arsenal star likely to miss huge London derbies, but set for return against Manchester United

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is on course to return to action against Manchester United at the start of next month, Star Sport reports. The England international is yet to make an appearance this season after suffering yet another ankle injury in the build up to the Community Shield clash against Chelsea last month and is expected to return to training within the next week. There was initial fears that the 23-year-old, who has been plagued with numerous injury problems over the past few seasons, would be sidelined for up to three months but scans showed it wasn't too serious and he avoided having to undergo surgery [via Mirror Sport].
