Walcott and Giroud score but Arsenal still need to improve in front of goal

Theo Walcott ended Arsenal's home goal drought as Arsene Wenger's men beat Stoke on Saturday. Arsenal scored their first home goals of the Premier League season to ease 2-0 past a Stoke side that would have been grateful the scoreline remained respectable. Despite bagging the first goal, Theo Walcott was guilty of missing a host of relatively simple chances, while Olivier Giroud, who got the second, picked up his tally only after squandering a much easier chance moments before. Ultimately there was a lot to be positive about, as Arsene Wenger's team played very well and kept a clean sheet for the third successive match.
