World Cup winner regrets not making Man United move

World Cup winner Emmanuel Petit has admitted he regrets not joining Manchester United as player, according to reports in the Metro. The former Arsenal man left England to join La Liga giants Barcelona after three successful years at Highbury, in which he formed an excellent partnership with Patrick Vieira. The 1998 World Cup winner only lasted a year with Catalan juggernauts, and joined Chelsea in 2001, who were then managed by current Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri.
