Result: Mathieu Flamini double gives Arsenal win at Tottenham Hotspur
Two goals from veteran midfielder Mathieu Flamini have given Arsenal a 2-1 win at Tottenham Hotspur in the League Cup this evening. Arsenal winger Joel Campbell headed over the bar from a Kieran Gibbs cross, before Mathieu Flamini opened the scoring on 26 minutes after pouncing on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's parried shot. Getty Images Tottenham missed two chances to equalise before the break, as Danny Rose dragged a right-footed shot narrowly wide, before Harry Kane saw a left-footed effort flash wide of goal.
