Reports of contract offers to Ozil and Monreal

The Mirror report this morning that Arsenal are set to offer new contracts to Mesut Ozil and Nacho Monreal as Arsene Wenger looks to retain stability in his squad. The German international has a deal that runs until 2018, but in the current climate, and with players with two years of less on their deals now holding more cards than ever before, Arsenal want to tie him down with a new deal and improved terms. The same applies to Monreal, whose deal expires next summer. Having been quizzed on the Spaniard's future in August, the Arsenal manager said there was nothing stirring in terms of a contract.
