Arsenal striker accepts decision after being dropped for England star

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has accepted manager Arsene Wenger’s decision to drop him for Theo Walcott, according to reports from the Mirror. The 29-year-old has been the first-choice selection for the role over the past few seasons, but has recently seen his place overtaken by the England international. Walcott told his manager earlier in the campaign that he wanted to revert from a winger into a striker and has now impressed over the last few fixtures, resulting in a bench role for Giroud.
