Mertesacker Confident Calum Chambers Will Become Top Centre-Back
It has been reported that Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker is supremely confident that Calum Chambers has a bright future ahead. The 20-year-old joined the Gunners from Southampton in the summer transfer window last year and impressed in his debut campaign for the North London club. The early-season form of Gabriel Paulista has so far restricted the output of Chambers in 2015/16 but teammate Mertesacker has assured outsiders that the three-time England international will become a quality player for the club in years to come.
