Karim Benzema Again Rubbishes Claims Of A Move To Arsenal
It has been revealed that Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has again rubbished claims of a move to Arsenal last summer. The French international was seen at Arsenal as manager Arsene Wenger's priority target for the close-season transfer window, but ended up staying put. 'Never (did I think of leaving). Every summer I laugh about it with my brother and friends. 'We are always waiting for the media to come up with these rumors,' Benzema told the Journal du Dimanche. 'Why would I leave? I am a starting player for the best club in the world. I'm happy, it's so simple.'
