Bayern Munich fly to London one day early to avoid traffic

Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola has revealed that his side decided to travel to London a day earlier than initially planned in order to avoid being caught up in traffic. The Bundesliga giants landed in the English capital on Sunday evening ahead of their Champions League showdown with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night. Having made the trip many times in the past, Bayern decided to fly well in advance of kickoff in order to avoid the players being stuck on transport in the 24 hours leading up to the game.
