Mesut runs for the shadows in his golden years

Arsene Wenger says that at 27 Mesut Ozil is reaching his ‘golden age' as a footballer, and pointed to his selflessness and desire to help the team as key factors for Arsenal this season. The German has 6 assists and 2 goals in all competitions so far, and as each game passes looks to be an increasing influence on the attacking side of our game. Wenger puts that down to him maturing and realising that now is the time when he has to produce his best football. 'He is 27 now,' said the manager.
