Arsenal moved to the top of the Premier League by defeating Everton 2-1 in their Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium. Olivier Giroud put the Gunners ahead in the 36th minute when he steered Mesut Ozil's cross past Tim Howard, while Laurent Koscielny doubled their advantage two minutes later.
