Arsenal to offer Arsene Wenger contract extension?

Arsenal are to hand manager Arsene Wenger an extension to his current contract as a reward for their impressive start to the season, according to reports. The Gunners moved to the top of the Premier League table with a 2-1 win over Everton on Saturday evening after they beat German champions Bayern Munich 2-0 to reignite their Champions League campaign in midweek. According to the The Mirror, the 66-year-old will be rewarded for Arsenal's strong start to their domestic season with a new two-year extension to his current deal which runs out in 2017.
