Arsenal have been joined by Napoli in the race for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani. The 21-year-old has been tipped for a big future and has already been likened to World Cup-winning captain Fabio Cannavaro. However, despite his promise, Rugani is struggling to break into the Juventus side and it has led to reports that he wants a move. Arsenal are long-term admirers of the Italian and scouted him on several occasions during his youth career. But now, according to Il Mattino, Napoli are ready to rival the Gunners for the centre-back by offering to take him on loan in January. Arsenal are in favour of a permanent deal - but they may now miss out as Juventus still see a future for Rugani...
