Arsene Wenger confirms injury layoff for Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will not play again until after the international break next month. The duo were forced off the pitch inside 20 minutes of the Gunners' 3-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup on Tuesday. Oxlade-Chamberlain was struck down after five minutes with a hamstring injury, while his replacement Walcott had to leave the field with a calf problem. The pair, who may not be available to play until November 21st, will miss games against Swansea City, Bayern Munich and North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
